FINANCIAL MODELLING DERIVATION OF STRATEGIC OPTIONS
The shareholders of a magazine publishing house have considered the implementation of a capital increase by admission of a further shareholder to finance the expansion of the operational activities. We have advised clients in the intensive preparation of the transaction and in assessing possible strategic options for action. We have developed a driver-based planning model for the assessment of the strategic options and developed individual business plans together with the management. We derived indicative company values for the individual options and discussed respective results and strategic options to be pursed with the management and shareholders.
